Just opened in Floreasca
Floreasca is one of the greenest districts in northern Bucharest, with the lake and the park a short walk from the door and the Barbu Văcărescu offices up the road. People live and work here, so the pace stays gentle: quiet mornings, easy evenings. Our brand-new brunch spot at Calea Floreasca 91-111 has landed right in the middle of it.
This is the second Cookie Beacon in the city, run on the family idea we started with in 2021. Brunch is made fresh on-site from locally-sourced ingredients, and the cookies are the sort you plan a trip around. Drop by before the day gets going, grab a specialty coffee on your way to the offices, or settle in at the weekend with a mimosa and a dog snoozing under the chair. Well-behaved pups are welcome, and we’ll bring a water bowl if you ask.
The cookies, and everything around them
Brunch first: creative plates cooked to order, with plenty for vegans and vegetarians (we ease off the seed oils in the vegan dishes so they eat lighter).
Then the cookies. We bake them in-house every day with real butter and proper chocolate: Belgian chocolate, Nutella, Lotus, Dulce de Leche. Crisp round the edge, soft and molten in the centre. Have one in with your coffee, carry a warm one down to the lake, and put away a slice of Cheesecake by Cookie Beacon before you go.

Getting here
You'll find us at Calea Floreasca 91-111 in northern Bucharest, on the stretch that passes Floreasca Park and heads down towards Lake Floreasca. It's a handy stop near Promenada Mall or the Barbu Văcărescu offices. Look for the shopfront on Calea Floreasca and follow the smell of cookies from the oven.
