Cookie Beacon runs two Bucharest brunch spots, both open daily 09:00–18:00 with the same menu. The original is at Strada General Christian Tell 1-3, Sector 1, just off Piața Romană — an easy walk from the Romanian Athenaeum, Calea Victoriei, Grădina Icoanei and the University of Bucharest. It’s a calm corner of a lively district; its dedicated page is Cookie Beacon Brunch Amzei. The newer Calea Floreasca 91-111 location covers the north of the city. Is Cookie Beacon good for vegans and dietary needs?
Both brunch spots carry a solid run of vegan and vegetarian options, and the kitchen uses reduced seed oils in its vegan dishes — an attribute few other Bucharest brunch spots state. For dairy-free drinkers, the smoothies and fresh juice (27 lei) and the Coconut Matcha latte (23 lei) are easy plant-based orders; ask staff which brunch plates are vegan, since the Cheddar-Scones contain dairy. The cookies are baked with real butter and Belgian chocolate, so they’re vegetarian rather than vegan — with one exception: the Vegan Caramel Fudge cookie (25 lei), filled with a soft date-caramel heart. If you eat dairy, the Cheddar-Scones and the Cheesecake by Cookie Beacon line are worth the visit on their own.
Walk-ins, hours and dogs
Cookie Beacon is walk-ins only — no bookings at either Bucharest brunch spot. Both run the full menu all day, daily 09:00–18:00, so a 15:00 brunch is the same menu as a 09:30 one; mornings and mid-week are the calmest if you want a quiet table. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and the team will bring a bowl of water. No buffet — turn up, take a table, and order at the counter.
