Tiramisu won. Our followers voted it Cookie of the Month, and the Tiramisu cookie is at every one of our brunch spots from 19 October to 18 November 2026: two in Budapest, two in Bucharest and one in Belgrade. In Budapest it costs 1,990 Ft at both the Basilica and Ferenciek tere, and the menu lists it as Tiramisu & Cookie Dough. Second place went to M&M’s, and you can still get it onto the menu for the same month (more on that below).
What the Tiramisu cookie is
It’s one of our chunky cookies: a tall dome of chocolate dough with a ridge of pale cream along the top, dusted with cocoa the way you’d finish a tiramisu. Break it open and the same cream runs through the middle in ribbons, between pockets of melted chocolate. The photo above shows the inside.
One cookie next to an espresso is enough for two. The Budapest menu lists the other twelve flavours, if you would rather order two and share.

Every Cookie Beacon brunch spot serves it from 19 October to 18 November 2026. In Bucharest and Belgrade, ask for the Tiramisu cookie at the counter.
