Most mornings start with hearty brunch, prepped fresh from local ingredients, and the vegan and veggie plates get real attention here (those vegan dishes stay low on seed oil). Then people reach for a chunky cookie, handmade and baked on site every day with real butter and good chocolate: Belgian chocolate, Nutella, Lotus, Dulce de Leche. Coffee, a smoothie or a mimosa (poured every day of the week) rounds it off. For cheesecake, our separate Cheesecake by Cookie Beacon shop is a short walk away on Arany János utca.

    I tried raspberry and pistachio cookie and Argentinan tea and they were both amazing🤩 I definitely recommend the cookie!! And the staff was very nice and welcoming💜

    We each had two biscuits and two hot chocolates. They were all good, but I think one biscuit per person is enough, as they're very sweet. We were served by Paola, who was very friendly and helpful. They also gave us blankets to cover ourselves with since we were outside.

Where to find our St. Stephen's Basilica brunch spot

You'll find us at Hercegprímás u. 15, on a side street just off Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út in Lipótváros. Walk toward the dome of St. Stephen's Basilica (the Bazilika, as Budapest calls it) and we're a three-minute walk from its front square. Deák Ferenc Square and the start of Andrássy Avenue sit close by, so it's easy to fold a visit into a morning downtown.
